Early Career
At 15, Grande secured her Broadway role in "13." in 2010, she rose to popularity for playing Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series "Victorious." She turned next to do cover songs on YouTube, which led to a record deal in 2011. Her debut album "Yours Truly" released in 2013, attracted a huge audience and was followed shortly after, in 2014, with another hit album "My Everything."


Chart-Topping Singles
The lead single "The Way," from her debut album "Yours Truly," debuted at ten on the US Billboard Hot 100. Her lead single "Problem," from her second album "My Everything," debuted at three, but climbed to number two on the US Billboard Hot 100. Her third album "Dangerous Woman," released in 2016, was a massive commercial success. Its lead single, the same title as the album, debuted at ten on the US Billboard Hot 100. This made Ariana Grande the first artist to have the lead single from each of their first three albums debut in the top ten on the US Billboard Hot 100. And she has since then, won many awards, a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for "Sweetener" in 2019, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Rain on Me" featuring Lady Gaga.


Terrorist Attack
On May 22, 2017, Grande's concert at the Manchester Arena was the target of a suicide bomb. The terrorist attack killed 22 people and injured many more. After the horrific incident, Grande organized a "One Love Manchester" benefit concert. The event raised $23 million and aided the bombing's victims and their families.
