Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Blueface, previously known as Blueface Bleedem, grew up in various neighborhoods across Los Angeles before settling in Oakland. Initially aspiring for a college football career, he later chose to pursue a career in rap. After releasing his first full-length project, 'Famous Cryp,' in 2018, Blueface gained attention with the viral success of his music video for 'Respect My Cryppin'. This led to a record deal with Cash Money Records' West Coast affiliate, Cash Money West.
Mainstream Success
"Thotiana" by Blueface stormed the Billboard Hot 100. He then joined the ranks of XXL's coveted 2019 Freshman Class. By 2020, his debut album, "Find the Beat," solidified his place in the industry.
Ventures
In 2021, Blueface opened his own soul food restaurant, Blue's Fish and Soul. He also produces his own show on Zeus Network, titled 'Blue Girls Club,' and has entered the world of professional boxing, signing with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and winning his debut match.
