Slavik Junge Biography

Early Life
Growing up in a turbulent environment in Kyrgyzstan, Mark Filatov and his mother moved to Germany when he was just five years old. Although they encountered challenges adapting to the language and culture, Mark quickly learned German and often served as a translator for his mother. Driven by her encouragement, Filatov developed a love for acting from a young age and pursued education to make her proud.


Acting Career and Education
Mark Filatov landed his first acting role in the children's TV series dasbloghaus.tv, playing the character of Alexander Luganov. This kickstarted his acting career, and Filatov later pursued a degree at the prestigious State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. Despite financial struggles, Filatov persevered and earned his university entrance qualification in 2011.


Ost Boys and Internet Stardom
In early 2016, Filatov collaborated with Dimitri Tsvetkov, aka Wadik, to create the popular YouTube channel 'Ost Boys.' This platform allowed Mark Filatov to display his comedic talents, and he gained significant social media influence under his Slavik Junge pseudonym. As of January 2022, Slavik Junge commands over 1.2 million followers on Instagram.


Success in Comedy and Music
Mark Filatov created and starred in the Joyn series 'Slavik - Auf Staats Nacken,' earning him two German Comedy Awards. He also released his first music single, 'Als wenn's gestern war,' in December 2019, collaborating with renowned artists like Capital Bra.


Bratan Productions
Amidst his success as an actor and comedian, Mark Filatov expanded into producing by creating the Joyn series 'Das Gefangenenexperiment,' a project inspired by the infamous 1971 Stanford Prison Experiment. Filatov went on to establish his production company, Bratan Productions, further solidifying his influence and success in the entertainment industry.
