PewDiePie Biography
Early Years
PewDiePie, born Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden and discovered his passion for video games at a young age. He used to skip classes to visit an Internet café to play games with his friends, and often indulged in his Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
A Change of Direction
In his final year of high school, PewDiePie used the money he earned from selling his artwork to buy a computer. Although, he initially pursued a degree in industrial engineering and management at Chalmers University of Technology, He realized his calling lay elsewhere and left the program due lack of interest.
The Rise of PewDiePie
PewDiePie's journey began when he discovered his passion for creating content on YouTube. Determined to finance his videos, he worked many jobs, ranging from being a harbor captain to selling prints of his artwork and even running a hot dog stand. His engaging commentary on horror and action video game titles accelerated his channel's growth and cemented him as an online celebrity.
Evolution of Content
Throughout his career, PewDiePie continuously explored different content styles, expanding his channel to include vlogs, comedy shorts, formatted shows, and music videos. While his endeavors received mix reactions and media scrutiny in the late 2010s, his channel continued to grow beyond 111 million subscribers.
Relationship
PewDiePie met his future wife, Marzia Bisognin (known as CutiePieMarzia), in 2011 online. The couple's relationship deepened over time, leading to PewDiePie dropping out of university in 2012 to move to Italy with Marzia and focus on their YouTube career. They tied the knot in 2019 and currently reside in Japan.

PewDiePie's impact on digital content creation and internet culture remains undeniable. In 2016, he founded Revelmode, a multi-channel network. His influential presence also earned him a spot on Time magazine's list of 100 most influential people in 2016.
